Did you know?....

AGILITY is the fastest growing dog sport in Britain

Whether you have a King Charles Spaniel, or German Shepherd, pedigree or mongrel, want to compete or just want an extra activity for you and your dog, agility is the perfect way to keep fit and have fun with your best friend.

At AGILITY FLYERS, we believe in fun-based training techniques and positive reward to ensure that all our clients, both two and four-legged, enjoy themselves.  Our instructors are experienced in all aspects of dog behaviour and training, compete regularly in the sport and are Agility Club Approved Instructors.

Serving Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding areas, we offer agility classes for all levels, from complete beginners through to serious competitors.  Class sizes are limited to six dogs & handlers so you and your dog get the most from your lessons.

We offer the following:

Pre-agility course (4-weeks)

Suitable for dogs 5-12 months of age or those with a low level of basic obedience or those dogs which have not been in a class environment before.   The course aims to give dogs and handlers the basic skills in order to participate further in agility.  There will be an introduction to some of the agility equipment but dogs will be predominantly on lead, and will not be required to jump more than a few centimetres (i.e. over a pole on the ground).

Courses run throughout the year

Beginners Agility course (8-weeks)

Dogs must be a minimum of 12 months of age to participate.  This course provides an introduction to all of the equipment you will encounter in agility.  The emphasis is on fun and we provide an environment which sets your dogs up for success.  An excellent foundation to further progression.

next course starts in April 2012

Improvers classes (weekly)

Continuing on from the beginners course, or a seasoned agility competitor.  These classes are adapted to suit individuals ability and we try to group similar levels together whenever possible.
